Hey guys, you know how in the 24/7 expirience thing how they went out and gave pizza to the homeless people? Well I think we should do something like that. Maybe sometime after the chili cookoff Sunday we should have everyone in the youth group volunteer for the House of Compassion or do something to help the community. I know we've mentioned this in the past, but I think we need to start getting actively involved within our town instead of just talking about it. I think the hardest part about it will just be working around people's schedules, but it's definately do-able.

I'm not exactly sure how to start something like this... it seems like everyone can make it to the movie nights and fun days our youth group has, but even MENTION a community project and all of a sudden excuses start flying. Plus what is there to do at this time of year? I was thinking maybe going around and shoveling old people's driveways =P but I'm not sure how well the other kids would agree with that.

...but maybe mention hot chocolate and cookies afterwards...

It might work hehe! I suppose anything is worth a try. Also I think we need to encourage the Meyers to start coming again. Since I quit dance I haven't had a chance to talk to Margaret, and I no longer have texting so I can never talk to Claire either. Tanner has been trying to get them to come, but nothing has happened so far. I miss them a lot in church!

Oh sorry, but last sunday I had to play violin in a quintet at some Lutheran church.. and sorry about the whole not replying for a week thing... i dont get on the computer very often, so it takes me a while to reply.

ugh. singing. =S not so much my favorite....
